Nominations Open for SPSP Elections
SPSP is seeking a diverse candidate pool for the next election cycle of Board members (for positions starting January 2018). Two Member at Large positions and the President position will be on this spring’s ballot.
 
January 27 Application Deadline: Summer Institute for Graduate Students
With National Science Foundation funding, SPSP is offering an intensive two-week experience for up to 80 pre-doctoral students in social and personality psychology during summer 2017.

Convention Updates
 
Workshops at #SPSP2017
Workshops at #SPSP2017 Workshops provide convention attendees with an in-depth learning experience on a specific topic. Space is limited in these session and an application to attend is required.
 
2017 Q&pAy Finalists Selected
Three finalists have been selected to compete in the 2017 Q&pAy competition. Their video submissions are on SPSP’s YouTube Channel. Be sure to attend the live competition on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
 
Student Social Night @ Howl at the Moon
Socialize with other graduate student convention attendees at Howl at the Moon beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday night. A complimentary drink will be offered to the first 500 attendees.
 
Mentoring Lunches at #SPSP2017
The Student Committee mentoring lunches and the GASP mentoring lunch are currently accepting sign-ups. Seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so sign up today!
 
Non-Academic Employee Social Hour

Connect with those employed outside of academia and discuss improving connections with government and industry organizations over a cash bar (with drink tickets honored). RSVP is not required.
